How to Fix Valorant Stuck on Loading Screen

Can’t figure out why Valorant is stuck on the loading screen?

Valorant is an exciting shooter game that has caught the eyes of many FPS enthusiasts. However, issues and errors within the game can easily suck out all the fun and ruin your entire experience.

One of the most common issues with Valorant is that it gets stuck on the loading screen.

When this happens, you won’t be able to access the game’s main menu.

If things go south, you might also encounter this issue while joining a matchmaking, resulting in abandonment and account suspension.

Usually, corrupted game resources cause Valorant to get stuck on the loading screen. On the other hand, it can also be due to network-related issues, offline servers, or improper configurations.

Today, we will show you what to do if Valorant is stuck on the loading screen on your PC.

Let’s jump right in!

1. Check Valorant Servers.

If you are unable to get to Valorant’s main menu, it usually means that the game servers are unavailable. To confirm this, you can visit Riot’s official status page to see if there are issues with Valorant.

Sadly, server-related problems can’t be addressed on your end. If the servers are down, the best thing to do is wait for Riot’s team to fix the problem.

However, you can head to the next solution if there’s nothing wrong with the servers.

2. Restart Your PC.

Restarting your computer might appear very simple but it allows your system to reload Valorant’s resources and resolve temporary errors.

It also flushes your system caches and closes unnecessary applications running in the background.

Here’s how you can restart your computer:

  1. On your keyboard, hit the Windows key to open the Start Menu
  2. Access the Power Options tab by clicking the Power icon.
  3. Choose Restart and wait for your computer to reboot.

Relaunch Valorant afterward to confirm if it will still get stuck on the loading screen.

3. Wait It Out.

Like any game, your system might need some time to load Valorant’s resources.

If the game appears to be stuck on the loading screen, give it 2-3 minutes to load and see if it will continue to the main menu.

If you have Valorant on a traditional hard drive, it might load slower. Consider upgrading your game drive to an SSD (Solid State Drive).
