I had a problem on firestick on the tv in living room. I’d got discovery+ working on tv’s kitchen and 2 bedroom firesticks also on my tablet and chromebook so I knew there was nothing wrong with signal strength. The front room firestick was just refusing to load discovery+.
Went through all the suggested ways of getting it to work but no dice. In the end, I uninstalled discovery+ and re-installed it, had to sign in again but now works fine. Hope this helps.

99.9% of the time, if AFT is not connecting on your mac, open your “force close” from the apple menu and force close the “preview” app. and try again. i dont know why, but if preview is still active, AFT will not connect.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU! Fix #2 worked perfectly. I use this search literally every day and I was getting a bit panicky when the usual methods of closing the calendar and restarting my phone didn’t work.

What do you do when the entire brightness settings section is missing from that part of the settings screen? I’ve reset the OS and completely reinstalled. Backlight works perfectly when booting to Windows.

In Excel, you can use VBA to set Application.Cursor = xlNorthwestArrow when you open a Workbook.

1. Enable the Developer tab on the Excel Ribbon and click on it.
2. Click the Visual Basic icon.
3. Under VBAProject (Workbook filename) / Microsoft Excel Objects, double click on ThisWorkbook.
4. In the window that opens in the VBA workspace, type:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
Application.Cursor = xlNorthwestArrow
End Sub

This will set the cursor to the familiar “Select” arrow every time you open this workbook.
Do the above in every workbook that you use.

I did all of the above and more with no success, this was what got the issue resolved for me:

Uninstall all physical printers, both local and networked, from the machine. I didn’t remove any of the non-physical printer options…don’t even know if possible or not.
Restart computer.
Then reinstall printers.

Test to verify that is the problem by doing cut/copy/paste while no physical printers are installed.
