Do you see an error code 4220 on your Xbox while playing online?

The Xbox error code 4220 is an annoying problem that prevents you from playing online games. Most of the time, this issue is reported to occur on Call of Duty WWII. However, it can also happen in other online games.

Based on the reports, the error code 4220 shows up while playing multiplayer mode in Call of Duty WWII.

If you’re in a middle of an exciting game, this error code can ruin your experience once it occurs.

Usually, the error code 4220 on Call of Duty WWII and other online games occurs due to outages on Xbox Live service. However, it can also be due to slow or unstable networks, outdated software, or improper device configurations.

Sadly, there’s no direct solution for this error code on your Xbox. Fortunately, there are some workarounds that you could try to address the issue.

In this guide, we will show you what to do if you encounter the error code 4220 on Xbox.

Let’s get right into it!

1. Check Xbox Live Status.

When you encounter the error code 4220 while playing online games, the first thing you should do is check Xbox’s servers. Usually, server outages are the main culprit for connectivity issues on Call of Duty and other online games.

You can confirm this by visiting Xbox’s dedicated status page to check if there are reported problems on the servers.

Xbox Status

If there’s an ongoing issue with Xbox’s services, the only thing you can do is wait it out. Sadly, any changes on your end won’t be able to address the issue on Xbox’s servers.

On the other hand, you can proceed to the next solution below if the servers are online.

2. Restart Your Console.

When something isn’t going right on your Xbox, you can try restarting it first before tweaking your configurations. This should reload your resources and eliminate temporary errors in your system.

Here’s how you can restart your Xbox:

  1. On your controller, press and hold the Xbox button until the Power Center shows up on your display
  2. After that, choose the Restart Console option.
  3. Finally, click Restart to confirm your action.

After restarting your system, try playing online again to check if the problem is solved.

3. Check Your Network Connection.

A slow or unstable network connection could also be the reason for the error code 4220 on Xbox. Since you’re playing online games, you’ll need stable internet to maintain a good connection with the servers.

To check if your network is the problem, perform a speed test using Fast.com to measure your connection’s upload and download bandwidth.

Speed Test

If the result indicates an issue with your network, reboot your modem or router to re-establish the connection with your ISP’s servers. Disconnect your router from its power source and let it rest for 5 to 10 seconds. Plug back in the power cable afterward to restart it.

Restart Router

Once done, re-run the test to check if the problem is solved. If your network continues to run slow, contact your service provider and ask them to fix the issue.

4. Update Your Game.

Faulty or outdated versions of your game could also trigger the error code 4220 on Xbox. If you haven’t updated your game for a while, try doing so to patch possible bugs and glitches on your system.

See the steps below to update your Xbox games:

  1. First, go to the main screen of your Xbox
  2. After that, highlight the game you want to update and click on More Options
  3. Now, select Manage Game & Add-Ons and access the Updates tab.

Do you see an error code 0x803f8001 on Xbox?

Xbox is one of the most popular home consoles in the market next to Playstation. It was developed by Microsoft and has gained a large share of the market recently with the release of Xbox Series X.

Despite being one of the leading console brands, Xbox is not perfect. Besides its design imperfections, errors can also occur on the console.

Similar to any device, the Xbox gives out error codes whenever it encounters a problem.

This is a must-have feature on any system as it makes the troubleshooting of issues easier. Without error codes, you’ll have difficulty figuring out what’s wrong with your console, and troubleshooting will surely take time.

One of the error codes that you’ll encounter on the Xbox is the 0x803f8001. This issue occurs while launching an app or game on your console.

Based on what we know, the error code 0x803f8001 on Xbox is caused by an outage on Xbox’s servers. However, it can also be due to corrupted game files, outdated systems, or improper device configurations.

Want to know how you can fix the error code 8015190E on Xbox Live?

Microsoft launched Xbox Live in 2002, and the attention it got back then was overwhelming. By 2019, the service had gained over 65 million users. While the service has undergone many changes through the years, its primary purpose of connecting gamers remains true.

In 2020, Microsoft decided to shift Xbox Live back to its sole purpose of networking and connecting Xbox players.

The same year, Microsoft introduced Xbox Game Pass, offering more features than Xbox Live.

While this did not affect the user count of Xbox Live, many are getting annoyed with the service due to frequent outages and downtimes. Since Xbox Live is a premium service, customers are expecting a flawless experience.

Recently, there have been reports from users who encounter an error code 8015190E when accessing Xbox Live services.

If you’re among these users, you’ve come to the right place.

Today, we’ve decided to list down the best solutions for fixing the error code 8015190E on Xbox Live.

Let’s dive right in!

Xbox Live is an online service that relies on its servers to deliver content and features. If you encounter problems on the platform, it usually indicates that the servers are experiencing technical issues.

To confirm this, you can visit Xbox’s dedicated status page and see if there are reported outages and issues.

Want to know how you can fix the Xbox Live error code 80151909?

A few Xbox users are encountering an error code 80151909 when connecting their Xbox account to Xbox Live services. Some even reported that the same code pops up when downloading their Xbox Live Profile locally.

While this issue is mostly reported on Xbox 360, it can also happen on the Xbox One.

Based on what we know, the error code 80151909 could be due to several reasons. First, Xbox Live’s servers might be down due to technical issues or system maintenance. Next, it can also be due to corrupted temporary data on your console.

On the other hand, it might also be due to a corrupted system cache or Xbox Live account restrictions.

Whichever the case is, we’re here to help.

In this guide, we will show you how to fix the Xbox Live error code 80151909.

Let’s get right into it!

1. Check Xbox Live Servers.

In any circumstance, the first thing you should do if Xbox Live is not working is check its servers. Being an online service, Xbox Live heavily relies on its servers to deliver content and features to the users.

You can visit Xbox’s dedicated status page to check if there are ongoing outages or issues with the servers.

Unfortunately, server-related problems can’t be addressed on your end. This means that the only option you have if the servers are down is to wait.

On the other hand, you can head to the next solution if Xbox Live’s servers are online.

2. Restart Your Xbox.

As we’ve mentioned earlier, corrupted temporary files are the main culprit for the error code 80151909 on Xbox Live. To fix this, restart your console to force your system to flush your temporary data.

Check out the steps below to reboot your Xbox:

  1. On your controller, hold down the Xbox button until the Power Center shows up.
  2. Now, choose the Restart Console option.
  3. Finally, click Restart again to confirm.
Restart Xbox

After rebooting your Xbox, connect your account again to check if the problem is solved.

3. Move Your Xbox Profile.

For some users, they were able to fix the error code 80151909 after moving their profile to another storage location. Although there’s no clear reason why this works, it’s something worth trying.

Keep in mind, however, that this is only a workaround and not a permanent fix. This means that the error code can still occur even if you’re already signed in to Xbox Live.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. On your Xbox, go to the Settings and access the Storage tab.
  2. After that, open the drive where you’re currently storing your profile.
  3. Select your Profile and hit the Y button to move it to another location. Choose another drive where you want to move your profile and click on Yes
  4. Now, restart your console. In the startup screen, choose your Profile and go to the drive where you moved it.
  5. Finally, reboot your console again.

Once done, you should be able to connect to Xbox Live without encountering the error code.

4. Clear Your System Cache.

Corrupted system files could also be the reason for the error code 80151909 on Xbox Live. If this is the case, we suggest clearing your system cache to flush your storage and eliminate broken files.

Check out the guide below to clear your system cache:

  1. Go to the Settings of your Xbox and access the System Settings tab.
  2. After that, open the Storage tab and choose your default drive.
  3. From the Device Options panel, click on Clear System Cache
  4. Finally, restart your Xbox

After rebooting your system, try connecting your account to Xbox Live to check if the problem is solved.

5. Reset Your Console.

If you still encounter the error code, the last thing you can do is reset your console. This should clear any broken or corrupted files from your storage and ensure that there are no bugs or glitches on your system.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Access the Settings on your Xbox
  2. Next, go to the System tab and open the Console Info & Updates tab.
  3. Select the Reset Console option and click on Reset and Remove Everything

As the message suggests, this error on Xbox is also related to Microsoft’s Xbox Live service,  which has been on the hot seat lately due to errors and downtimes.

Unfortunately, the error code 80151006 is yet another issue that you’ll encounter with the Xbox Live service.

Based on what we know, this problem on Xbox Live is usually caused by server outages and downtimes. However, it can also be due to slow network connections, outdated firmware, or improper configuration.

To help you out, we’ve decided to make a guide for fixing the error code 80151006 on Xbox Live.

As we’ve mentioned, the error code 80151006 on Xbox Live could be due to connectivity issues on your console. To fix this, reconnect your console to your wireless network to renew its IP address.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. First, open the Settings on your Xbox
  2. After that, go to General and choose Network Settings
  3. Now, click on the Go Offline option.
  4. Once your console is offline, click on Forget Wireless Network

See the guide below to clear your MAC address:

  1. On your controller, press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  2. Now, navigate to System > Settings > Network > Network Settings

Do you experience service connectivity problems on Xbox Live?

Microsoft released Xbox Live in 2002, and the hype back then was overwhelming. By 2019, the service reached over 65 million. While Xbox Live saw drastic changes over the years, its primary purpose of connecting gamers remains the same.

In 2020, Microsoft decided to focus Xbox Live mostly on networking and connecting Xbox players. The same year, Microsoft also released Xbox Game Pass, which offers more features and goes hand in hand with Xbox Live.

Although the number of people using Xbox Live did not fall, many are not satisfied with the service due to outages and errors.

Recently, players have been complaining about connectivity problems with Xbox Live.

Based on the reports, gamers can’t connect to the service or their accounts, which prevents them from playing online. This caused them to miss online events, tournaments and eventually affected their levels or ranks.

If you’re among these users, we might be able to help.

Today, we will show you some of the best solutions for fixing service connectivity problems on Xbox Live.

Let’s jump right in!

1. Check Xbox Live Status.

When you encounter connectivity issues on Xbox Live, it is mostly due to server outages and downtimes. To confirm this, you can visit Xbox’s dedicated status page to check the status of Xbox Live.

service connectivity problems on Xbox Live

Sadly, there’s nothing you can do but wait if the servers are down. Since server-related issues can’t be addressed on your end, any changes on your end won’t affect the servers.

On the other hand, you can proceed to the next solution if Xbox Live is up and running.

2. Restart Your Console.

Before tweaking your configurations, we suggest restarting your Xbox first if you encounter issues with Xbox Live. This should reload your console’s resources and fix minor bugs and glitches.

Here’s how you can restart your Xbox:

  1. On your controller, press and hold the Xbox button to access the Power Center
  2. Now, choose the Restart Console option.
  3. Finally, click Restart again to confirm your action.
Restart Xbox

Once done, try accessing Xbox Live to check if the problem is solved.

3. Check Your Network Connection.

Another reason why you encounter service connectivity problems on Xbox Live is if your network is running slow or unstable. To confirm this, perform a test using Fast.com to measure your network’s upload and download bandwidth.

Speed Test

If the test indicates an issue with your network, restart your router or modem to re-establish the connection between your ISP’s servers and your device. Unplug your router from the outlet and wait for at least five seconds before reconnecting it.

Restart Router

Re-run the test afterward to check if the problem is solved. If the issue persists, contact your provider and ask them to fix their service.

4. Update Your Xbox.

Outdated or faulty versions of Xbox’s firmware could also be the reason you’re experiencing service connectivity problems on Xbox Live. To resolve this, simply update your console to the latest version possible.

Check out the guide below to update your Xbox:

  1. First, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  2. Choose Profile & System > Settings > System.
  3. Lastly, go to Updates & Downloads and follow the prompts to install the update.

Go back to your game or access any Xbox Live service to check if the problem is solved.

5. Contact Xbox Support.

If none of the solutions above worked for you, it’s time to get the experts involved.

Visit Xbox’s Support page and contact their team to ask for assistance regarding the issue you’ve been experiencing. There might be an issue with your Xbox Live account which prevents you from playing online or accessing its services.

Wondering why your Xbox One won’t connect to Xbox Live?

Although your Xbox One can be used for offline gaming, it’s more fun if you connect it online with Live. Having an Xbox Live subscription is a must for Xbox owners, especially those who play online.

Unfortunately, the online aspect of Xbox consoles can also be a source of frustration. Besides toxic players, you can also encounter issues while connecting your console to Live.

For some reason, the issue can occasionally occur on your console.

Usually, server-related problems are the cause of this issue on your console. However, it can also be due to improper configurations, outdated firmware, or unstable networks.

If you have a hard time connecting your Xbox One to Xbox Live, you have come to the right place.

Today, we will show you how to fix your Xbox One if it won’t connect to Xbox Live.

Let’s begin!

1. Reboot Your Xbox One.

As a common practice, we always suggest users to restart their consoles if something isn’t working right. This should clear temporary bugs and glitches from your system which might be causing the issue.

See the guide below to restart your console:

  1. On your controller, press and hold the Xbox button to access the Power Center
  2. Now, choose the Restart Console option.
  3. Finally, click Restart again to confirm your action.

Once done, go back to your Xbox and see if you can connect it to Xbox Live.

2. Check Xbox Live Status.

When you encounter issues with Xbox Live, it’s likely to be a server problem. If this is the case, the only thing you should do is wait it out. Unfortunately, server issues are not addressable on your end.

To confirm this, you can visit Microsoft’s status page to check if there are ongoing issues with Xbox’s services.

Xbox Status

Head to the next solution if the servers are working fine.

3. Check Your Network Connection.

Slow or unstable network connections could also be the reason your Xbox One won’t connect to Xbox Live. To confirm this, run a test using Fast.com to measure your network’s upload and download bandwidth.

Speed Test

If the result indicates an issue with your network, power cycle your modem or router to re-establish the connection with your ISP.

Unplug your router from the outlet and wait for 5 to 10 seconds before reconnecting it.

Restart Router

Once done, re-run the speed test to check if the problem is solved. If not, get in touch with your service provider and ask them to fix your connection.

4. Reconnect to Your Network.

After some digging, we’ve found out that several users were able to fix the issue by reconnecting their wireless network. While the reason behind the problem isn’t clear, you can try it on your Xbox and see if it works.

Here’s how you can forget a network on your Xbox:

  1. First, open the Settings on your Xbox
  2. After that, go to General and choose Network Settings
  3. Now, click on the Go Offline option.
  4. Once your console is offline, click on Forget Wireless Network

Restart your console afterward and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network. Try connecting your Xbox One to Xbox Live to check if the problem is solved.

5. Check Your Subscription.

Your Xbox Live subscription might not be active, which explains why you can’t connect your Xbox One. It’s also possible that your payment method failed or you did not enroll it to auto renew.

Here’s how you can check your Xbox subscriptions:

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide and access the Profile & System tab.
  2. Next, navigate to Settings > Account > Subscriptions
  3. From here, you can check your subscriptions, view your payment schedule, change payment options, and more.

Can’t figure out why your Xbox won’t connect to any wireless network?

Xbox consoles that were released in recent years all come with a built-in Wi-Fi radio. This enables users to connect to their networks wirelessly, allowing them to choose where they place their consoles freely.

Although wireless connection and online gaming are standard on any console, the feature isn’t always working.

On the Xbox, many circumstances could prevent the console from connecting to the Wi-Fi. It may be due to signal interference and obstruction, network issues, or a broken router or modem.

If you are here, we can safely assume that your Xbox console won’t connect to a wireless network.

As it turns out, this is a common issue on the Xbox, and troubleshooting shouldn’t take that long.

To help you out, we’ve decided to make a guide on how to fix an Xbox that won’t connect to a wireless network.

Let’s get started!

1. Restart Your Xbox.

Before changing your configurations, the first thing you should do if your Xbox won’t connect to a wireless network is to restart it. This should reload your console’s resources and eliminate temporary errors.

Here’s how you can restart your Xbox:

  1. First, press and hold the Xbox button at the center of your controller to access the Power Center
  2. After that, choose the Restart Console option.
Restart Xbox
  1. Lastly, confirm your action by selecting Restart again.

Once done, try connecting to your Wi-Fi to check if the problem is solved.

2. Check Your Wireless Reception.

Wireless networks are convenient, but they are not as reliable as wired connections. Although your Xbox can detect your Wi-Fi, it’s possible that the signal is unstable, which explains the issue.

If you have purchased or moved any electrical equipment that can interfere with your wireless network, that could be the reason your Xbox won’t connect to your network.

Placing a large object between your router and Xbox could also cause signal interruptions.

To avoid this, make sure that your Xbox and wireless router are as close as possible. If this isn’t an option, we suggest using a wireless mesh or Wi-Fi repeater to boost the signal of your network.

3. Restart Your Network.

The problem may not be with your Xbox but with your router or modem. Since your wireless router stays on for long periods, it could also run into errors, causing signal interruptions and unstable connections.

To resolve this, we suggest power cycling your device.

Restart Router

Locate the power cable of your router or modem and unplug it from the outlet. Let it rest for 5 to 10 seconds before plugging back in the power cable.

Once done, try connecting to your network again to check if the problem is solved.

4. Update Your Xbox.

For this method, you’ll have to switch to a wired network to install the software update on your console. The current version of your Xbox’s firmware might have an issue with wireless connectivity, and a patch should solve it.

See the guide below to update your Xbox console:

  1. First, make sure that your console is connected to a wired connection.
  2. After that, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  3. Choose Profile & System > Settings > System > Updates & Downloads
  4. Lastly, follow the prompts if there’s an available update.
xbox won't connect to wireless network

Restart your console after the update and try connecting to your wireless network.

5. Ensure Your Using the Correct Password.

One of the most common reasons why you can’t connect to a wireless network is if you’re using the wrong password. Your relatives might have changed your Wi-Fi password, explaining why you can’t connect to the network.

It’s also possible that you’ve mixed up your Wi-Fi password.

To ensure that you have the correct credentials for your network, ask your relatives or anyone at your house if the password was changed. You can also confirm with them if the password you’re using is correct.

6. Reset Your MAC Address.

If you’ve set up a custom MAC address on your Xbox, it might be the reason you can’t connect to a wireless network. While this is not always the case, you can try resetting your configurations to see if it’s the culprit.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. On your controller, press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  2. Now, navigate to System > Settings > Network > Network Settings
  3. Choose Advanced Settings afterward and open the Alternate MAC Address tab.
xbox won't connect to wireless network
  1. Finally, click on Clear

Restart your console afterward and see if you can now connect to your Wi-Fi.

7. Switch to Wired Connection.

If you still can’t connect to a wireless network, we suggest switching to a wired connection in the meantime. There might be a hardware issue with your router or console which prevents you from connecting to a wireless network.

Whichever the case is, switching to a wired ethernet connection should do the trick if you really need to play online or update your console.

8. Visit a Service Center.

At this point, the last thing you can do is bring your console to the nearest service center and have the professionals take a look at it. Your Xbox’s wireless card might need a replacement, or other components on your console is faulty.

That ends our guide on how to fix an Xbox that won’t connect to a wireless network. If you have questions, please drop a comment below, and we’ll do our best to help.
